A long long time ago, borne from a random doodle in an ex-school library.
She is a Wolf survivor because her grandma won a game of chess against Death. She was meant to have a dual personality, hence the bi-colored eyes...
For everyone who watched The Story of i, its hard to catch Red's bi-colored eyes. Here i upped the levels~ and it's still hard to see~

If I had said anymore the compositors and renderers would have thrown a chair at me. :)

Nikita 3D Model
I've decided to build a 3D model of Nikita using Maya! Hopefully I will rig and animate it to the end.. Even make little accessories and perhaps a dolly house for her to live in. I will save a tonne of cash by dressing her up virtually! Keep track of progress here.

I took Nikita to the playground today. Because it was almost twilight, the lighting was very bad. So i disguised the above photo to become a fake holga shot. Someone shoots me! Ha!

Coraline!
I went to pick up my Can Can Cat Blythe who I've christened Coraline (yes yes neil gaiman lovely book :D)
I can't post pics because lighting in my room now sucks and my camera is even worse! :X

She is indeed lovely and her hair is astonishingly a brilliant blue.
Although her purple dress is a similar (but not exact) shade of purple to Natasha Moore's outfit... but other then that, she rocks.
I am going to get her a guitar real soon.

Tape Wallet
You can't see it here, but it's super messy. I need an alternative way to get it together without totally having hot glue on my shirt, floor, tape pen, scissors... I'm trying hard to be neat but i just get glue in my hair. :( I probably will have to try shorter zips as well!

Manage to hoard some tapes, though the black one is especially brittle and breaks.

Zhen showed me some really cool steampunkish pendants she made outta watch parts which were so lovely! I think they'd make super chokers!

Version 2.0

This is the new balloon story, The Story of I.
The balloon story featuring Milla has been scrapped after 16 weeks of conceptualisation, and in the space of five days we dreamt up a new concept during SP4 (amazingly!).

I drew the storyboards (i thought impossible -.-), Super Theo inked, and everyone colored. Stella visualised the intro in flash, and Zhen slapped it all together.

We now have a fifth member to the Yellow Nails Studio team:
the amazing ROSALIND SAM, who has unmatchable drawing skills.

Hope twas understandable.
Versh 2.5 is in the works, basically a tighter, well thought of story.

We would all appreciate deeply for comments, questions, and help!

Based on the song 'Hip to be Square' by Huey Lewis & The News, it shows a square smiley speaking square language to a circle smiley. Its common to be a round smiley, but it's cooler to be a square smiley. Just like it's better to be yourself rather then someone else.

Goodbye Balloon Story, we had fun times together!

Been extremely busy with Studio Project recently~

the story of i
Essentially our originally idea of "Letting Go" has been scrapped (after18 weeks of conceptualisation!!) and now we are working on a totally spanking new and relatively even more exciting concept for our animation.

I'M SUPER EXCITED!!!

It's really cool how when you work with other people and talk through an idea, it can become five times what it originally was... And we'd come up with totally ridiculous situations to laugh about which would give birth to other crazier thoughts.. and Zhen and Stella had spanking cool ideas. Hopefully we can get past the Yang Tien Hurdle and into production...

I'll restart the Project Blog (see Balloon story link on left) during the holidays in a weeks time and whatever we've done will be archived and hopefully i'll cough up a new nifty site to keep invisible peepers updated.

In the meantimes.. random doodles and comics on the way!!

I got a pair of preview tix and went to watch it with Stell.

i had a bad habit of amputating them when i scraped them
off the cookie sheet. XD

icing is extremely pishworthy.
if the consistency is too thick, you can't
bloody well draw a line.
i finally got it after destroying like 13 of them.
you have to have it runny AND thick enough!
and always always mix your coloring
in a bowl, not in your icing bag.
(stupid me went to mix it in bag, omg haha)

of course, the kitchen now looks like a war zone...
